Dirk Peek Dirk Peek, MD FCCS FIPP, is an Anesthesiologist-Pain Specialist and eHealth/Telemedicine consultant. He graduated as a Medical Doctor at the University of Maastricht. During his study he did various research in the medical field and is an author of an extensive list of publications. After his graduation he recieved additional training in Intensive Care medicine, general surgery and cardiothoracic surgery.
Subsequently he was trained as an Anesthesiologist and Painspecialist at the University Hospital Maastricht. After his board certification he worked abroad as an Anesthesiologist and Emergency Physician. Since a few years he is involved in EHealth and Telemedicine projects as Medical Advisor of Hewlett Packard Enterprise. Currently he is involved in the Medical Assistance Remote Specialist ( MARS) –project.
