Meetali Kakad is a public health physician and Head of EHealth in the Department for Technology and EHealth at the South-Eastern Norway Regional Health Authority.
Prior to this, Meetali has had various public health and global health related roles, including working at the Norwegian Knowledge Centre for the Health Services, the United Nations World Health Organization, the National Health Service in the U.K . She was a member of the third Norwegian Commission on Priority-Setting, convened by the Minister of Health in order to review criteria and mechanisms for prioritization within the Norwegian health system.
Dr. Kakad was the 2015-16 Norwegian Harkness/Research Council of Norway Fellow in Health Care Policy and Practice. Based at Harvard Medical School and the Brigham & Women’s Hospital in Boston, her research focused on how predictive analytics can be successfully implemented to improve health outcomes and quality care.
