Runar Gunnerud started his career working amongst the robots of St. Olav’s Hospital in Trondheim, when these robots started to push boundaries in Norwegian healthcare. His experience spans a wide range of the public sector, where he always had an emphasis on using new technology for the betterment of people’s lives. He is a trained engineer and anthropologist, and has worked both as a civil servant and as a consultant advising government organisations. Runar believes software robots can lead to improved quality, efficiency, and increased flexibility in public organizations, while reducing cost over more traditional technology.
