Birgitta Cappelen Birgitta Cappelen is Associate Professor in Interaction Design at the Institute of Design at Oslo School of Architecture and Design (AHO). She has an educational background from Industrial Design (SHKS, AHO), Philosophy/History of Ideas, Media Communication Studies and Computer Science from University of Oslo.
Birgitta has worked with the field of User Interface Design/Interaction Design since 1985 in both Industry (technology, design, media), Art and Academic contexts. Within Academia Birgitta’s work is within the field of Tangible Interaction (physical and tactile media, Internet of Things) in the intersection between Health Promotion, Technology and Culture (music, art, design,) latest in the project RHYME.no, supported by The Research Council of Norway.
